Sharjah Police honors the "13th floor" child rescuers

The Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, yesterday honored Adel Abdul Hafeez and Muhammad Rahat Allah, at the headquarters of the Comprehensive Police Stations Department, in the presence of the Deputy Director General of Police Operations, Brigadier Ibrahim Musabih Al-Ajeel, and the Director of the Comprehensive Police Stations Department, Colonel Youssef bin Harmol.

The honor came in appreciation of their magnanimity and sense of security, and their heroic role in successfully dealing with the prevention of a child falling from the 13th floor of a building in Al-Taawon area, after informing the police and immediately intervening and breaking the door of the apartment and saving the child.

Abdul Hafeez and Rahatullah saw a child hanging in a window on the 13th floor, and they hurried up to the apartment and knocked on the door, but no one opened the door for them.

Al Shamsi praised their good behavior and quick intuition, stressing the keenness of the Sharjah Police to honor those cooperating with them, in appreciation of their positive and effective role in enhancing security and safety in society.
